IBC 2010

Brainstorm has added Aston 7 to its range of real-time 3D graphics products.

Brainstorm Multimedia announced today that it is purchasing character generator manufacturer Aston Broadcast Ltd from The Softel Group for an undisclosed fee.

Brainstorm have announced the following plans:

Immediate resources will go into further development of the product resulting in an evolving product with new version releases

Aston 7 will be fully supported by Brainstorm’s technical staff based in the UK and Valencia - Aston staff have joined Brainstorm

As part of the transition, Softel will continue to offer Aston legacy product support

The product will be further developed to provide greater interoperability between Brainstorm eStudio and Aston 7
